At Retailvilla, we are committed to offering high-quality, authentic ethnic wear. To maintain our standards and ensure fairness to all customers, we enforce a strict Exchange & Store Credit Only policy as detailed below.
1. 100% Exchange & Replacement Guarantee
We provide a 100% Exchange Guarantee. If you experience a size or fitting issue, you can request an exchange within 7 days of delivery.
- Reverse Pickup: We will arrange a reverse pickup from your doorstep within 5 to 7 working days (subject to location availability). Once we receive and verify the returned product, we will ship your replacement.
- No Reverse Pickup Facility: If your pin code is not serviced by our reverse pickup partners, we request you to self-ship the product to us.
- Limits on Exchanges: We accept size or design exchanges only once per order.
- Sale Exclusions: Please note that no returns or exchanges are accepted during clearance or promotional sale periods.
2. Conditions for Exchanges and Replacements
We will accept replacements and exchanges of an item only if the following conditions are met:
- The request must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
- The product must be unwashed, unused, and in undamaged condition.
- All tags and labels must be completely intact.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging.
- Hygiene Clause: In the interest of hygiene, we reserve the right to refuse returns where it is obvious that the item has been worn, washed, or soiled.
- Fabric Exclusion: Exchange and return are valid only on readymade items (e.g., Kurtis, Cord Sets, Salwar Suits) and not on unstitched Fabrics.
3. Strictly No Refunds Policy
We follow a strict No Refund policy. Refunds are only issued in highly exceptional cases (e.g., if you receive a verified defective product and we are unable to send an alternative due to unforeseen stock unavailability).
- Store Credit Limit: Store credits can be issued up to a maximum of INR 3,000/- per customer.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) Constraints: Due to processing constraints, COD orders are not eligible for cash refunds under any circumstances. You may only opt for an immediate replacement or store credit.
- Non-Refundable Fees: Shipping charges and COD handling fees are strictly non-refundable.
- Color Variations: Actual product colors may look slightly different from digital images due to professional studio lighting and photography conditions. Claims based on minor color differences will not be entertained.
4. Defective, Damaged, or Shortage Claims (Mandatory Unboxing Video)
To prevent fraudulent claims, we have a strict verification process for defects, transit damage, or missing items:
- Mandatory Unboxing Video: A continuous, unedited video of you opening the parcel from its sealed state is mandatory to verify any claims of defect, shortage, or transit damage.
- Reporting Window: Any claims of damaged or defective items must be emailed to us within 48 hours of delivery. Requests made after 48 hours will not be accepted.
- Resolution: Once verified, Retailvilla takes complete responsibility. We will either issue a replacement or provide a coupon code of equivalent value.
5. Order Cancellations & Modifications
- Cancellation Policy: Once an order is placed and payment is confirmed, we cannot cancel it because our stock is limited and booked immediately. If you need to request a cancellation, email us; if approved by management, equivalent store credit will be generated for your account.
- Order Modifications:
- Once shipped, no changes (size, design, or address) can be made to your order.
- For changes before shipment, email us immediately and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
- Company Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel an order at our sole discretion. In such cases, we will inform you via your registered email and provide an adjustment, replacement, or refund.
6. Shipping & Transit Notices
- Shipping Delays: Retailvilla relies on third-party couriers. We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carrier transit issues or unforeseen external circumstances. For urgent deliveries, please contact us before placing your order.
- Failed Shipment: If we are unable to ship your order, we will promptly notify you via email and outline corrective actions.
7. International Shipping and Returns
- Eligible Countries: We ship to the US, UK, UAE, Australia, Hong Kong, South Africa, Qatar, Oman, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, Thailand, and Switzerland.
- No Returns/Exchanges: International orders are strictly ineligible for returns, exchanges, or cancellations.
- Delivery Timeline: We ship international orders within 5 to 7 working days. Delivery to your destination takes approximately 5 to 10 working days from the date of shipment.
